Wondering if I should join the National Guard...?

Later on today (in like less than an hour) I'm supposed to be meeting with a recruiter to talk about joining a branch in the military, preferably the National Guard. But honestly, I'm not sure if I could handle the stress and anxiety of it all, but joining will help pay for school in the future, it'll help me work out and become physically fit which I've never been in my life, it can just help me but how's someone with severe anxiety supposed to join something like that? Everyone in my family is less enthusiastic because they know I'll fold under pressure and it's making me doubt myself and what I'm capable of...I just don't know..

its not nearly as difficult as people make it out to be. i served 4 years active duty and i think of it as a high point in my life. completing basic and all is something no one can take away from you. its an achievement you earn on your own.
