Life lesson don't make eye contact with someone buying cheetos you'll get glared at.

I just got home from the store. I went to the self checkout and as I'm rounding the corner I look up to see if there was a spot open. As I look up I make eye contact with a large woman scanning a bag of cheetos. She sees me and glares at me. The only spot open was next to her too. Guess who was given dirty looks the entire time? Me

I didn't even do anything wrong. That's what I don't understand.
