I had expected it:The death of the Queen would touch me.

And so it is. I am not a royalist, but I cannot deny her my respect for her lifetime achievements. There must have been few kings and queens in the history of the world who were as beloved by their subjects (and far beyond) as she was.


So I bow to her and wish her a peaceful rest and my thoughts are with her family. May her beloved husband welcome her on the other side so they may be reunited again.... this time forever. 🖤

I don't know if I believe that last line, but when Piaf sings it, I know I want to
