I'm a sanitizing freak, and my hands are buring now.

I tend to sanitize my hands like 5-10 times a day, each time I touch a handle when I'm out and about.
Now I started using a diff sanitizer a couple of days ago, it was alright just a weird smell, and more liquidy. I just applied it, and for some reason now my hands are burning. I went and washed them with soap, but they are still burning.

So, all that alcohol and chemicals are being absorbed by the skin and into the blood circulation all day long? Great. Keep “sanitizing?”

@InHeaven alcohol evaporates pretty quickly, I dont think it's gets to that.

The scent evaporates, but the molecules of the alcohol don’t vanish with it @Dan193 skin cells absorb everything like a sponge, transfer it into capillaries etc and that’s a NONstop 24/7 supply of alcohol into the blood stream. Wow

@Dan193 No, I can't say I have got drunk using hand sanitiser. It would probably be a lot more popular if you could.

You can get drunk if you drink it because the stomach and intestine lining transfers alcohol into the blood stream faster then skin. @MrSimons But it is doing it’s damage anyway

@InHeaven I would never advocate drinking it! I sometimes use it but certainly not 5 to 10 times a day!

@InHeaven I really don't think is a good idea to drink it. There are different types of alcohol, and the one they use in sanitizers isn't the same as the one we drrink. That would straight up poison u. And alcohol does evaporate in seconds.
