I am sorry but I have no idea where you can watch it when you are in America but it is not over yet, the semifinals and the final are not played before the weekend and which teams will appear in them is not yet decided so there is still a lot to watch. Try searching the Internet and try also this site: http://swe2016.ehf-euro.com/home/ there are lots of articles and pictures and at least some videos from the tournament.
@Elisbch: Good if the link could help you. Next year in December it is the World Championship that is played. I do not know which country will represent the North American continent, usually it has been Canada and if that also next year is the case it probably will not help you but if it is USA then I guess that there is a chance that a little handball will be shown on American TV. Last time I saw a national team from USA play was at the Olypig Games in Los Angelses. It was a national team created especially for the occasion and I remember that the players had been recruited from the ranks of basketball players. The team naturally did not stand a chance against European teams and the Korean team but the players were good and at least a couple of them came here to Denmark and played as professional players for some years. There is no doubt that if USA wanted it they could develop a strong and successful national team. For many years Brazil although being the dominant handball nation in South America never got further at the World Championships than to the initial round but in 2013 Brazil as the first not European nation became World Champions. They had worked hard and determined on making handball known and popular and on creating a very good natonal team. If USA do the same there is a chance that you one day will be able to watch handball in USA as we do it here in Europe.
