Can anyone help with fashion advice?

I have a wedding to go to in the UK (I'm from Aus) and I am absolutely clueless about fashion. I've picked out a jumpsuit but don't know what to wear with it? I obviously need something to cover the top because it'll be cold. Will also need a coat I guess and no idea what type of shoes. Any ladies have any ideas?!?! Please help a clueless girl out! I don't have any female friends. 😅

@SW-User It'll be October and in the UK...
I've been there a few times in October and it's always been freezing.

@maybesomeday It's not cold in october i live in the UK you only think it's cold because of the climate you live in

@SW-User The UK is frequently cold and rainy in October lmao. Even if it happens to be a warm day, it definitely makes sense to plan for cold weather given the setting and time of year. Even if they end up not needing the cardigan, it's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it

@Lucyy Nonsense have you ever been to siberia in the winter ? thats where the real cold is

@SW-User And? Just because other places are colder doesn't mean the average person isn't going to be cold sitting outside 😂 This isn't a pissing contest, Common Sense would be to dress for the weather. And if the weather is frequently raining and clouded over, warm clothes make sense. Rain+wind= wear a cover.

@SW-User Right, so maybe you don't feel the cold easily I guess. My partner is from the UK and he can confirm it is cold in October. Granted, maybe not the coldest the UK gets but certainly not warm by any means.

@Lucyy Yeah ok Miss America whatever you say 👍

@SW-User Grew up in Carterton. Know full well the climate, as well as the fact that essentially no one there is running around in shorts and a tank top in England in October. Unless you're blind, you do too. So whatever you say Mr. Wrong and Presumptuous

@Lucyy Hmm are you trying to make this into an argument ? so you grew up in Carterton hey ? Ok what's the difference between a Biscuit and a scone ?

@maybesomeday Uh yah you will need a coat in the UK in October. Almost definitely. It's raining at least half the month, and often cold enough to see your breath until February. I agree with what Lucyy said earlier. Raincoat over a cardigan, unless the weather report promises no rain. And even then I would keep it in the car just in case.
