Can anyone help with fashion advice?

I have a wedding to go to in the UK (I'm from Aus) and I am absolutely clueless about fashion. I've picked out a jumpsuit but don't know what to wear with it? I obviously need something to cover the top because it'll be cold. Will also need a coat I guess and no idea what type of shoes. Any ladies have any ideas?!?! Please help a clueless girl out! I don't have any female friends. 😅

Any shoes that match the color will work. White would be the easiest default rather than color-matching
Given the location and time of year, I would hope the wedding is inside, or at least under cover. If its inside, a raincoat would be appropriate to wear over it, and if they planned accordingly they should have a coat drop-off once you get inside. You could also wear a cardigan (White skintone, or black could work, or if you can get the color-matching right, light purple would look amazing with the subtle shade of the flowers). But if you did choose a cardigan, as would be needed if its outside and just
covered or even if you just want a shoulder cover once you're inside, you would need to plan for your hair, which you probably wouldn't want to get wet. In which case you would still want to walk in with a coat over it (doesn't need to match, since its for cover and not part of the outfit and should be removed once inside) or with a hat. But if you aren't good with fashion I would probably forgo the Hat, since it's really, really easy to ruin the vibe and throw off the whole outfit with a weird hat lol.

@Lucyy Oh my gosh, thank you so much for your advice!! It's helped a lot. I was thinking of white or nude or pale pink shoes, I'm not good with heels though - do you think nice boots would be okay? I've basically been trying to find a crop blouse to go over the top of the jumpsuit but have been struggling, so thanks for the suggestion of a cardigan!

@maybesomeday I would go with black, white, or colormatched flats if heels don't work. Unless its noted as an informal wedding, or has a rustic or cottagecore theme, I would avoid boots. I suppose exceptions could be made based on the specific boots, but that would generally be a no-go for a wedding. I would also avoid the pale-pink, unless the picture you shared makes the outfit look like it has less pink than it does. A crop-blouse could also work, as long as the collar of it came down far enough to show the white top underneath. Otherwise it would be easy to look like it was out of place, similar to a shirt thrown over a dress. That's pretty common with one-piece outfits (jumpsuits and dresses) if the style of the crop blouse doesn't compliment the build of the outfit beneath it.

No problem lol. I worked in a wedding boutique for a little while before covid shut everything down, and picked up some stuff lol.

@Lucyy Again, thanks heaps, you've helped me so much and given me more ideas on what to look for. Hopefully I can complete the outfit soon otherwise I'll have to go back to looking at dresses and that was a nightmare in itself lol!!

@maybesomeday No problem lol. Just make sure if your cardigan or cover ends up being white, it isn't really long and flowey. White is alright as an accent color, but not as the main color of dress unless you're the bride. I would aim for a light purple cardigan if you can find one. I think that would look really nice.

Sometimes going into a store helps too, so you can see them on you. If you cant finish this outfit and struggle online, maybe give a store a try. Thrift stores and discount stores like Ross are Actually super common places to look for wedding outfits, since its fairly cheap for a specific event, but can still be a quality dress and fit well. Or, of course, there are actual the boutiques, but those tend to cost more. Online shopping would definitely be the most convenient if it works for you though
