Ive come to the conclusion apartments are too peopley for my taste. I prefer the solitude of a real home where people aren't in my way bothering me

Too many people to run into. I'm not a people person and I don't want to have to talk to anyone I run into. I prefer the comfort and solitude of a real home. I can exit knowing i don't have to deal with anyone. I miss having a backyard too for fires and having friends over to chill.
I like having a small space to live in. I wouldn't want to live in a massive house. That said. I wish I had a yard and I hate walking by my neighbors every time I take my dog out

@TeamSkullGrunt My favorite is a small townhouse which not coincidently is where I live. I have a tiny private enclosed patio that could be green space or a deck. Its mine so I can do what I want with it.

I agree. Too peopley for me too. But in some ways, the whole world is too peopley.but since I’m somewhat depressed or overwhelmed? I dunno what to call it, kinda sad, I think too much? So maybe a small town, with friendly neighbors might be nice. That or a small school in Mexico where I can teach English to people that are just happy I’m there. Except I would want to pretend I’m DIRT poor too. Hmmm . Life - it’s simple AND complicated.
Anyhow, yes you are the perfect age for wanting a place. To have cookouts which apartments done allow.
Apartments have gotten expensive to rent. They used to be cheaper to rent than houses.

Yea alot of people feel that way plus I don't like that the landlord can technically enter my apartment with any flumsy excuse even if they aren't supposed to and most don't do it but some do.
Also you can't change anything in the house.
