Does anyone actually win on lottery tickets?

I wonder if they still make winning lottery tickets, seems like they're all always losers. Plus you never hear of anyone personally actually winning anything. Sometimes I'll read in the paper about someone winning, but I bet the people who sell lottery tickets just make up those stories to convince people to buy their tickets. There's really no way to win anything more than a couple hundred dollars
