I am always encouraging people to live near where they work. IE: My own "commute" is about 15-20 feet. I have no idea why people would work an hour away from where they live.......

We use those plastic grocery bags as packing material in our business

We consciously recycle and repurpose as much as possible....
@Threepio until recently I could not get a job in my neighborhood. Now I have two of them.
I know we shouldn't rely on the supply chains we have, but I can't get along without stuff.

I researched sustainably sourced fish, and only buy those.

I refuse to buy anything made of plastic because it ends up in the oceans.

@Riemann Hydroponic farms are clean and sustainable...IF you can get the nutrients...

@4meAndyou As the farming lands are decreasing, it's a good option. I can't remember the downside tho.

@Riemann Nitrogen is still needed for hydroponics. We will have to address that issue.

Using resources wisely because all the resources in earth are scarce.
Trying to use of the products that harm the environment.
I try to use less plastic. When I am offered a plastic bag, I usually refuse. I try to carry my own bags, and use many times.
Love this question.
