When you go to other people's home do you connect to their Internet?

I didn't even know this was a thing.
I automatically just assumed you use your own data or just don't use your Internet based apps when spending time with them?

I connect more with whom I am visiting. Have I connected to their home Wi-Fi? Yes, I really needed then. Only once so far.🙂
