Nasal sprays

Do nasal sprays cause skin to thin?
I've heard frequent use of nasal sprays can cause blood vessels to thin. Does that mean it can cause skin to thin as well?

I've never heard that, I use saline or Xlear
They can thin out the membranes in your nasal cavity and sinuses, therefore a localised issue. I am not aware of situations where thinning became systematic unless it was within the face itself and resulted from overuse or a unique sensitivity/side or adverse reaction.

It’s not likely with prescription nasal sprays however, over the counter nasal sprays are not the same.

Misuse occurs often with otc sprays and become more harmful than helpful.

Hope that helps. Breathe on!

Anti cholinergic destroy brains, and corticosteroids raise blood sugar. Use sparingly.
