The man has always been a liar and a narcissist, his whole public persona is deliberate and cultivated to hide the fact he is lazy but very ambitious.
He is the worst Prime Minister in Modern History - and thousands died of covid because he is lazy and does not care.
He only cares about one thing, himself.
More fool those that voted for him and his party.

@ImJack BoJo represents almost perfectly a new type of politician – you can find them in virtually every country, but he is really the embodiment.
He's completely shameless. For no reason whatsoever would he decide to resign.
It's not true that he is a liar. He's below a liar. In contrast to the liar (who must have some regard for the truth in order to artfully subvert it), he has no such concern or constraint. What he says is an arbitrary mixture of facts, truth and fakery - designed in such a way that the mix is useful for him. He is not concerned at all with how things really are, he is neither for nor against truth. He may say factual things, but not because they are factual. Truth is simply no category in his thinking. (In philosophy, this epistemological category is called "bullshit".)

@ImJack He's not as bad as Thatcher. She was a heartless monster. Boris is only a heartless idiot.

@HarrietteSpeedy Thatcher was the greatest Prime Minister since - well Churchill, though he’s a special case. And she certainly wasn’t heartless, though she sometimes sounded as if she were.
MartinII · 70-79, M
@SW-User That was Arthur Scargill’s fault, not Margaret Thatcher’s.
HarrietteSpeedy · 61-69, F
@MartinII five million unemployed; industries devastated; communities destroyed; Falklands War allowed to keep her in power.
Monster
A nightmare.
Disgusting creature

@SW-User Well, she's in Hell now, where she belongs.
HarrietteSpeedy · 61-69, F
@MartinII Thatcher forced it - the buck stops with her. A verminous vicious right wing monster.
MartinII · 70-79, M
@HarrietteSpeedy I’m not going to argue politics with you, which would clearly be a waste of time. But your language disgusts me. I hope, on reflection, you will see fit to withdraw it.
MartinII · 70-79, M
@HarrietteSpeedy Verminous, vicious and monster are childish epithets. But what’s wrong with being right wing? Or left wing, for that matter?
HarrietteSpeedy · 61-69, F
@MartinII Childish but true - and not sufficiently strong for a woman who destroyed so much and ruined so many lives in her crazy attack on the unions.
