humans are insignificant.in the universe we are a spec of dust in a spec of dust in a spec of dust!! thats why i believe there probably isn't a god.
I think if we were insignificant, we never would have been born. Read Jeremiah 29:11

what? everything is born and can be insignificant. the largest black holes have the mass of 100 billion suns so the sun is insignificant but its still there.
i mean don't most people find bugs insignificant? they are also born so theres no difference.
and what is Jeremiah? is that the title of the book or something passage in the bible?

@popmol: I'm saying just because we're human, it doesn't mean we're insignificant. We were born for a purpose. Jeremiah 29:11: "I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord...plans to help you, not hurt you, to give you hope and a future." Of course if you don't believe that, that's up to you.

what can we do? it doesn't matter if climate changes. cause the planet it doesn't matter if we live on the planet or not. and the planet is so small in comparison to the sun and the sun is even super small we can't do anything on a good scale.
sorry i'm a atheist or maybe not agnostic? something. the only reasonable thing i can think of is a god starting the universe but that's it.
its something nice tho :) but i don't believe that. finally something nice in a holy book. it gives hope to people like me if they believe in a god. but you know false hope isn't so great, what if something happens, and they blindly believed this was gods plan but it became worse and worse then they will resent the idea of god or feel betrayed or stupid.

@popmol: That's where trust and faith come in. God is trustworthy. He's proved that to me since 1973, when I accepted him as my Lord and Savior.
@popmol: There are TONS of nice things in God's Word. A huge list. Check it out. John and Proverbs is a good start.

well i heard people completely hated him cause they trusted in him and it kept getting worse.
well i always look to the bad side. if theres too much bad it outweighs the good . and don't forget bad weighs more then good

He did a lot of good. His very nature is that of love. He is love personified. People who criticize him don't really know him. He healed the sick, the blind, so many things. Yes, a lot of people hate him, but I think more love him. He has transformed thousands of lives for the better, including myself. He didn't just claim to love us, he proved it, when he died on the cross to pay our sin debt, so we could have eternal life in heaven. @popmol:

well i think thats a bit weird. sacrificing your son to get people to love you. and why do we deserve to be here and not in heaven because Adam and eve ate and apple? thats some bullshit right there, but believe what you want. all i see is hope for people who have blind faith thats all.
@popmol: If you'll read my latest post called Filthy Rags, it will explain it to you better. Please do. God didn't sacrifice His own son. Jesus volunteered to die for your sins.

i'll read it :) but what are our sins eating an apple? giving us everything what we want except an apple our curiosity was so strong then so thats our sin?
@popmol: Eating an apple or anything they had at hand wasn't the sin. There's a bigger picture here, you're not seeing yet. By Adam and Eve disobeying God, they introduced sin into the world. Sin is disobedience to God. It separates us from God. If you get a chance to read my post, it will explain what the real problem is, and why.

thats ****, if god made them then its his fault for not implementing the sins.
so a god can do whatever he wants but he can't even make us like he wants too. this sounds more like he is some weird guy who made us and then made us go sin on purpose to then play as a savior. i think thats more evil then everything else

@popmol: Oh, he made us like he wanted to, alright. It's us who are majorly messed up. God won't make you do anything. We do things by choice, so we have nobody to blame but ourselves for wrong choices. People don't want to worship or follow God, because they don't want to take responsibility for their own wrong choices, plain and simple. God is fair. It's sin that is not fair.

wait so we have to hold the guilt of the 2 people adam and eve in the past?
i want to toake responsibility. but he must too.
