What to do, when you have broken contact with someone recently but you know they may need you now as they didn't trust many...do you relent ?

Hello @Prim! Based on the reason for breaking contact (lack of respect for you and your partner) i don't know if i would help them. You don't owe them a thing. Why should you make yourself available to support them when they refused to support you?
