Political discussions on here tend to remind me of a very dark version of Green Acres.

Most discussions seem to devolve into a debate in which one side is devoid of or mistrustful of actual facts, empathy and common etiquette. And the other side foolishly looks up actual stats which are discounted for a variety of inane reasons until their heads explode.

I’m not sure if it’s a Sinister Green Acres or a Hateful Alice in Wonderland. Maybe a dysfunctional Wizard of Oz.
