You won't believe one of my friend has the same voice as actor Girish Kumar. How is it possible?

Girish Kumar Taurani is an Indian actor, famous for his movie Ramaiyya Vastavaiyya which was released in 2013 and he was 24 yr old that time. Now he is 33. I have a friend in college named Channabasava who has almost the same voice as Girish Kumar. Especially while talking with him on phone and when he says hello, he sounds very similar Girish Kumar's voice. My friend Channabasava is 22 yr old now as he was born in Oct 1999 and I am 21 as I was born in Dec 2000 so he is a year older than me but we are both good friends.
