Why do people think it's ok to make half assed plans, then completely ignore you on the day in question?

I feel like an idiot sending texts like "am I still coming to yours?"

I dunno, I'd think without plan alterations the existing ones how ever half assed are still standing. but I suppose it depends on what you're planning on/doing/et al.
