When you hold a pencil/pen, does the it rest on your ring finger or your middle finger?

sheesh now i got to think about that.


but, depending, if i write it's between the thumb and middle/index.

if i'm drawing it's between the middle and third.

i'm not sure why that is... just that's how it's been.
