Addings Gifs to Posts

Okay this might be me being dumb but just how do you do it? I've been trying recently and it seems to be a different way to just the normal photos. Help would be greatly appreciated for this literal dumb blonde xD

It's the URL link option in the photo menu.

The source of the gif matters. For some reason it doesn't accept Giphy...

@KingofPizza: It doesn't reject it. It just doesn't translate the text into the gif on the published post. It doesn't recognise there should be something there.
