No, because I know that there is no point; except the point we give it.

@ninalanyon I love your answer Nina, very profound ❤️

@Steffanie Thank you! I'm glad to know that there is someone who appreciates it. Of course it's a bit of cold comfort though. Especially for a lazy person like me.

@ninalanyon I do appreciate you sweetheart ❤️

@Steffanie By the way, how's the weather where you are? Have you been affected by the floods in Queensland and New South Wales? Looks pretty horrible!
Steffanie · 56-60, T
@ninalanyon hey no Nina I’m on the other side.

@Steffanie I'm glad I live where flooding is very unlikely. I live near the sea. Global warming will probably bring the sea to my doorstep but not in my lifetime.

@ninalanyon we live with the danger of fires every year, they are a real threat, so scary
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@Steffanie I don't have that either. At least not close enough for it to matter. We have a lot of forest though and camp fires, etc., are forbidden in the forest from 15th April to 15th September. There's enough open land between me and the woods for that to not be a problem, which is good because we mostly live in wooden houses here.

The land of Australia really doesn't seem to like the people!

@ninalanyon It's all Dorothea Mackellor's fault, with her drought and flooding rains.

@Bushranger
Dorothea Mackellor
Who's she?

@ninalanyon Wrote a poem called My Country, which starts off:

I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping Plains
Of rugged mountain ranges
Of drought and flooding rains

It's that last line that's the problem, lol.
