2 questions; Just how long have you been working out for at this level? First week? Month? Etc...
...and, how long - duration - do you work out for? 30 mins? 1 hr? 2 hrs?

The first couple of weeks are the hardest as your body is trying to adapt to the new stress - ie, exercise.
I'd say that 1 1/2 to 2 hrs is too long at the moment; I'd do something short and sharp - around 45 mins - and add an extra 5-10 mins every other week.
At around 45 mins the stress hormone begins to kick in, which is not something that you really want at the moment....one of the things that the stress hormone does - the fight or flight hormone - is to retain the energy stores as well as it can. That means fat stores.
So, try some HIIT (Hi Intensity Interval Training) for full-body and try to do it under an hour. Make sure to drink water throughout and eat a protein heavy meal pretty much as soon afterwards as you can.
