I Don't Get Humans Sometimes

I imagine most of you have had that moment where someone dumps an opinion on you that's different from yours. You express that you're sceptical and ask questions and very quickly learn that they aren't interested in having a conversation or a discussion. Instead they wish to put a band aid on the insecurity they have of their own intelligence and try to insult you in the process. I don't know about the rest of you, but it not maketh sense to me. When did conversation and discussion go out of fashion and acting like a 13 year old who's discovered how to use swear words became the new norm for sharing opinions? 😁
