I met @sarabee1995 my very first week on EP back in 2013. She was here when I was going through some very difficult life transitions. I'm very grateful for her friendship.

@ShadowSister Wow! Was it really 2013??? 2013 I was either a senior in high school or a freshman in college. That was a [b][i]L-O-N-G[/i][/b] time ago!!

@sarabee1995 It was 2013 for sure. Either February or March. You were in high school. I actually thought you might have been a Junior even, but I will defer to you on the math.
I remember being intentional about keeping clear boundaries specifically because of your age. But I was posting about my issues, and you were part of my friend group, and that's just how it was. I don't think you were trying to say anything profound. You were just being yourself, "being difficult," as you say. But your influence challenged me to stop pretending and get real with myself. I'm grateful. And glad to count you as a friend.
