You mean the book that has 50,000 errors and Biblical contradictions? Mmmkay
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@stratosranger Name an error please.
stratosranger · M
If I name an error, is this going to be an endless rabbit hole of nonsense? If so, telling you now I am not interested. @hippyjoe1955
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@stratosranger you made an allegation. Surely you can provide one example. If not then only one in the rabbit hole is you.
stratosranger · M
@hippyjoe1955 Genesis 4:17 for example. “And Cain knew from his wife.” So far we have Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel. They are the only humans on the planet. Abel has already been killed by Cain. Where did Cain’s wife come from? She just suddenly appears from nowhere? Sounds like a major plot hole here. And there are thousands of them. So I have named an error. And I am not interested in some theological argument. If you care not to listen to that sentence and reply you’re just wasting your time. I named one error as requested. Have a nice day.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@stratosranger So because the Bible doesn't say that something happened even though we know it happened.... How is that an error?
stratosranger · M
And you did not read that I have zero interest in the rabbit hole you pull everyone into. Shows that you do not listen. Good night @hippyjoe1955
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@stratosranger You said because the NYT didn't tell you that Uncle Jake ate supper last night the NYT is full of errors. That is just silly.
stratosranger · M
And here we go. Off the deep end. I don’t read the NYT. Do you have any other assumptions? I’ve seen you do this with other people and sorry, doesn’t work with me. @hippyjoe1955
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@stratosranger Believe it or not not every detail of every life is germane to the story of the Bible. That doesn't mean it is full of errors. That means it was edited to tell a story.
stratosranger · M
Good night
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@stratosranger Way to prove you are clueless about the Bible and its purpose.
stratosranger · M
@hippyjoe1955 What part of “not interested in your bullshit” did you not figure out the first, second or third time? You asked for an inaccuracy, I gave you one. You offered ZERO EXPLANATION for it. None. Are you a little child that needs to get in the last word? Does that make you feel like you’ve won some pointless argument? Prove me right by replying you freaking 5 year old. đŸ€Ł
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@stratosranger Too funny. The best 'mistake' in the Bible is the fact that it didn't record every birth in history. NOW THAT IS FUNNY!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
stratosranger · M
Well genius, where did she come from? Four people on the planet. Did God create more? Where is the verse where he did that? Such a flawless book! Come on expert. Tell us. Anything? Any real answer? Or are you going to deflect? I bet you’ll deflect. @hippyjoe1955
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@stratosranger From Adam and Eve. Eve means Mother of all the living.
stratosranger · M
So incest is your final answer. đŸ€ź So you’re just making this up as you’re going along? Where is the biblical verse that states Cain’s wife was a daughter of Eve or that Eve is the mother of all the living? Your book should have answers being that God is perfect and all. There should be zero inaccuracies, no questions left unanswered. But that’s not the case is it? Obviously. @hippyjoe1955
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@stratosranger So you were not aware that Abraham and Sarah were half siblings? If you thing incest has always been bad you are mistaken.
stratosranger · M
No, you’re mistaking me for someone who buys into the million excuses people like you come up with in your desperate attempt to convince yourself that it’s accurate and true. A perfect God should have a perfect book. And
nope. So sorry. @hippyjoe1955
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@stratosranger What excuse? You asked if someone married their sister and I said yes. I even gave you a named example. If you think that is odd Abraham and Sarah's son married his cousin. Isn't it strange how the error filled book doesn't hide that?
stratosranger · M
And where does Cain’s wife come into this? Still haven’t aka can’t answer that from your flawless book. Nice attempt (again) at deflection. But sorry. Won’t enter the rabbit hole. You failed to convince. @hippyjoe1955
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@stratosranger She was the daughter of Adam and Eve. She isn't named. There were lots of people not named in the Bible.
stratosranger · M
That’s YOUR interpretation. Site the verse or go home. @hippyjoe1955
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@stratosranger If Eve is "mother of all the living" .... Do try to keep up. We have no idea how many sons and daughters Adam and Eve had. The Bible simply doesn't tell us. It tells us about the first murder and gives a reason for it that have theological underpinnings and then goes on to talk about the ancestor of the Semitic people. That was its purpose. There are many generations not mentioned in the Bible.
stratosranger · M
No. I am asking about THE BIBLE. The WORD OF GOD. Not the word of hippyjoe. So chapter and verse. Post them. You can’t. They’re not there. End of discussion. You lose. Good day sir. @hippyjoe1955
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@stratosranger You sound a bit unhinged. I already told you what we know. You are claiming that is an error. Care to explain how the record we have is an error? A man married his sister. Not that he had any choice if he wanted to marry since all the women in the world were his sister. And if you think that is bad the girls didn't have much choice other than marry their brother since all the men in the world were their brother.
