Is masculinity slowly dying?

[c=#7700B2]dont mean any offence to this what so ever but slowly as time goes on and on into new generations of people, it seems men are getting more feminine and a lot seem afraid to embrace masculinity these days. I have no problem with people being whatever they wanna be, so don't try twisting my words here or anything... I'm just curious [/c]

I think if anybody is killing masculinity, it's women.

Yep. When there is demand, people are selling.

@PlumBerries: I think @Lakesidepoet summed it up better than I could. There's a double-standard in the west where women are treated with greater privileges than men and we also support women so that they have male characteristics. I guess it's not so much that masculinity in men is dying, so much that masculinity in women is encouraged. It's like you said earlier that women can play rough sports and lift heavy things too. Once upon a time that was considered a masculine characteristic. This is just the natural progression of [some] women nagging on and on and equality to the point where it's not even enough to have equal rights, women are expected to be like men.
