I have not been on here for a while so a bit late with a response.
I do like your question, I have added only 15 people as friends, I do follow a few more. I add people who I think I would enjoy getting to know based on their posts and comments. I have had, I am guessing about 6 of the 15 that have requested me first.
I do get frustrated as it seems that even "friends" rarely initiate a conversation. Normally unless I initiate first rarely or never hear form most. 馃槬
