Do you think I'm trying too hard to look/appear white?

Man....what the hell is wrong with you?! You should be PROUD to be Asian!! Not trying to be white b/c some bullshit standards!! My father is half Russian/half Chinese born in the USSR and raised in Mainland China after his parents divorce. Despite looking very white appearance and being a Russian citizen proudly speaks Chinese as his first and preferred language! He won't leave Asia and his Asian family even for the chance to live in the United States with his American wife. Why? Because he values his culture, his rich cultural heritage, and wants to keep his culture instead of accepting strange white culture. When he was doing the paperwork to come to the USA legally he asked what he should call himself in terms of race and was told to ALWAYS call himself white due to appearance BUT that didn't suit him at all b/c he knew he wasn't white and his entire life is due to Asian family. Till this day I can still call him "white boy" and nearly get myself strangled to death b/c he is so proud to be Asian raised and cultured and ABSOLUTELY HATES being called white boy although he's half white and looks that way naturally. Asian cultures are so rich , successful, and ancient. Why would anyone in their right mind want to deviate!?
