I'm amazed on how birds can fly

So what if they flap their wings, theres more science attached to my question

Think of their wings as prop blades taking a chunk of air and displacing it to get forward thrust. Also it allows air to travel across their wings creating lift. But that forward thrust will be created into lift once the bird gets enough speed and the flapping slows down just enough to maintain level flight
