I think they had a lot of screw ups before reaching a good point.

I think that I don’t know their backstory and shouldn’t project onto them. It’s frustrating when they’re judgmental and presumptuous though.

I will say that I’ve had to overcome a crazy amount of bs and bust my arse daily to provide my kid a better childhood than I had growing up, but also so they’ll have opportunities and assistance to achieve their goals in life that I didn’t. The idea of some asshat shaming them for ‘coming from privilege’ because I did my job as a parent so their adulthood can be generally happy annoys me to no end.
