No. In a country which will monitor and track its own citizens for dissidents and which employs barbaric interrogation techniques for dissidents, I cannot say that I love this country anymore. Those are the markings of a totalitarian environment, and souls born into such worlds are doomed to continual suppression and mind control. I don't know that I trust the future of this country to the government.

Depends on your definition of loyalty. I'm proud of my country, and I will defend it if I have to, but if something starts messing it up I won't let it go, and my opinion of it may change.
