I had no idea that lamb had a funky aftertaste to it.

I tried Moroccan style lamb meatballs. The seasoning was great but I couldn't get past the lamb aftertaste.

The older the lamb the more pronounced the flavor. I’ve had Moroccan harrira soup made with spring lamb and it was delicious and no aftertaste. Mutton, which is a grown sheep, is a whole different story. Funky from the first bite.
