Why put a bumper sticker on a Lamborghini
popmol · 22-25, M
@thelastofus so i'm a lamborghini?
curiosi · 61-69, F
When I was younger we had a neighbor who was elderly with tats. They were wrinkly and sagging. I decided never to get a tat as that was an ugly sight.
summersong · F
I have 17 of them. My only advice is to be sure about what you are getting and make sure you are comfortable with the artist you choose
popmol · 22-25, M
@summersong thanks:) and you look lovely miss! but 17 that's a bunch! big ones?
summersong · F
@popmol aw thanks! some are quite small but a couple are pretty big.
popmol · 22-25, M
@summersong which one is your favourite?
SW-User
No, but I really want to get a target or dart board for a laugh

Yes
It'll hurt more if it's over a bone, less if it's on muscle or fat, make sure you go to a certified artist who has good hygiene, think about the permanency of it (it can be taken off, but the removal is painful and expensive), tattoos are expensive, you often get what you pay for, think carefully about the design, don't get one under the influence of alcohol, eat something before you get it because a lot of people feel queasy and pukish because of the pain, listen carefully to your artist about post tattoo care and hygiene and do your bit of research on the same. Further, consider your career/profession and how tattoos will be looked upon in your workplace and get one accordingly in an area that can be covered by a shirt with its sleeves folded and trousers- this excludes your face, forearm, neck, ears. It's also not a good idea to get a tattoo on your face, they're just awful, but if that's what you want, get it.
Also consider how others would react and more importantly, how you'd react to them reacting to your tattoo. It's a very personal thing and you should do what you want to, but if you can't deal with others judging you, then don't get one

I have one,
What are you like with pain? And where you thinking of having one?
Be 100% sure on design before getting one.

QueenOfTheNerds · 41-45, F
Yes, I do.
Obviously, choose the design carefully, but your artist, too. Follow the aftercare directions.

popmol · 22-25, M
[@QueenOfTheNerdsbut of course :) do you have a lot?
It’s permanent so be 100% sure about it and what you want and why. Research artists too. You don’t want to be looking at a piece of crap art or pay extra for a cover piece later.
zerofuks2give · 41-45, M
@ExperienceDLT 🤦🏼♂️
ExperienceDLT · M
@zerofuks2give always just say no to naner tats
popmol · 22-25, M
@Pinkstarburst very good!
Tobasco · 31-35, F
No and no
twiigss · M
No piercings, no tattoo's. Just never appealed to me. But after seeing people with them, I just don't find that it's something I would ever want to have done.
I will have to look at it, all the time, depending where it is, and with the way my OCD is, yea it just wouldn't be good for me.

iamnikki · 31-35, F
Nope. I love flowers and that's why I wear them, keep fresh ones, and have them on my things. I don't need one tattooed on my skin🙃
JonathanC · 61-69, M
I don't have any tattoos. But I advise you to get a big battleship across your chest.
SW-User

I’m scared of needles 😬
popmol · 22-25, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout well they are tiny though?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
About 14 tats. upper arms and forearms are pretty painless. Inside of arms are extremely painful. Other body locations vary. Find a good artist and choose your design well. You will have it for a life time.
popmol · 22-25, M
@hippyjoe1955 truly wise!
fanuc2013 · 51-55, F
Just do the temporary ones! Then you can change any time you want!
Lilymoon · F
I don't have any tattoos but it's a personal decision. Some people suit them. Some don't.
Elessar · 26-30, M
I've a scar that works like one 😜

It’s all about the artist. Find one who’s highly recommended. There’s a lot of shitty tatoo artists out there
popmol · 22-25, M
@zerofuks2give there's 2 nearby but i know loads of people with good tattoo artists so i'll make sure its good!
Kowabunga · 51-55, M
No, I think it would spoil my total baldness. Maybe one on the top of my bald head 😂
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
Make sure it's something you wont regret when you get older
popmol · 22-25, M
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic i'm not dumb, if i take some its going to be art not garbage :p
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
@popmol Just saying, I have a friend who wants to tattoo the alliance lion from WoW on himself, I think that's stupid because he'll eventually grow out of this game or it will die seeing how Blizzard is doing right now.
popmol · 22-25, M
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic well true but it's the thought of the old times!
nedkelly · 61-69, M
No person can advise you to get one, make sure the tattoo artist is very clean and has a good reputation
Wiseacre · F
No, I consider them self mutilation.
Wiseacre · F
Well, I do...maybe ok on a teenager. Imagine a tattoo on sagging skin...not good:-(([@pop-mol]
I have one butterfly tattoo to signify my 18th birthday and freedom. That's about it
popmol · 22-25, M

Azlotto · M
I do not. Seems like a waste of money.
Mrsbetweenfatandfit · 26-30, F
I don’t have any.
I’m a wimp with pain & far too indecisive for such a permanent choice.
But I love a lot of people who do have them.
Research the place & the previous art the person has done. Make sure you think their work is great. Once you pick them discus what you want in detail. Oh if you’re getting writing TRIPLE check the spelling. My mom had a spelling error done but it was her fault because she didn’t catch the mistake on his rough draft that he did to be sure it was how she wanted. Think about size in terms of what’s too big/small for you & definitely where it is. Tattoos are way more accepted today but sometimes you might not feel like showing it decide if you want it someplace you can choose to conceal it some days. Lastly take good care of it during the healing process. It’s important for your health. Oh & show us if you do get something done.
