@popmol batteries are more toxic then fossil fuel. Think about how many junked vehicles you've seen? Theese things only last at best a decade, and I've heard no word about the plan to harvest the junk batteries of these toxic vehicles.

@checkoutanytime well that is an issue but electrical cars don't trouble us as much as fossil fuel, fossil fuel ones have from start till the end fossil fuel output while batteries are yes toxic but if safely removed should be fine!

@checkoutanytime fossil fiel cars also have batteries and we have a system to keep them out of landfills. It's called CORE charges. Same system works for all battery vehicles.


The issue isn't whether one is more or less toxic than the other. The issue is how handlable and containment the toxic chemicals are.

@MethDozer correct so do you even know the difference in the size? I fossil fueled car has a battery approximately 1 ft buy 1 ft a cubic foot, now tell me the size of the battery so I can clearly tell you it's cubic detentions are 10 fold or greater.

@checkoutanytime Dafuq drugs are you one? The size of the battery is insignificant when it comes to what we are talking about.


Just because the battery is bigger doesn't make it any less recyclable or able to keep out of a landfill.
