Do you feel like downvotes are being overused on here?

I've been seeing a lot of downvotes lately on harmless posts and comments, and I don't really get it. Someone must think that it's funny, I guess 🤔.

And of course, to illustrate the point, someone had to downvote this post. I really wish they’d get rid of it. At least three really cool people have left this site, and I’d bet it’s a factor. 😞
