i wonder why people don't understand that drinking and smoking is a bad thing 🤦🏾‍♂️

If you mean addiction, then it is a bad disease rather than a bad decision..

They understand, they just don’t care, or they are addicted and have trouble quitting.

In terms of addiction, they know, but it's an easier said than done kind of thing and for some Alcohol is what gets them through tough times, that's all they know. As far as drinking in general.. it's not bad. it becomes bad if you get addicted to it or if you happened to have health issues that get worse accompanied by drinking. Drinking in general for those who do not abuse the substance can actually be healthy and good for your heart. More so wine and beer has benefits as well, but too much of anything is not good so like with anything else you must limit yourself.

Addiction. People search for ways to handle things, and happen to turn to said things. And they do understand, it's not easy quitting either, especially if it's been going on for a while. It's not something you'll really understand either unless it happens to you.

I’m sure most people understand that they are potentially harmful (though red wine, in moderate quantities, is said to be good for you). But many people enjoy them, and I think people should be allowed to enjoy themselves.

Well it gets me high. I'm drunk lol and helps me sleep.
