Dear users :)

I am always happy if one of you get by interacting with me the impression that I am a nice guy he or she would like to follow. Be sure, I am grateful for every follower, but please do not be sad or disappointed if I do not follow you in return.

I have had some bad experiences here so I am very careful about whom I will follow. For this, I need the feeling of trust, and that takes time to be built. So in general it´s not a personal dislike against you but pure self-protection.

The "followers" and "friends" function here doesn't seem to have much meaning anyway.

@RobinPhoenix My "followers" and "friends" are mostly the people who don't talk to me here. It's very strange. I don't know if they're invisibly watching (spying) or what. 😆

I know what you mean and that was one reason why I radically cleaned out my followers and friends list some time ago.

@SW-User Oh, that's not okay. Shame on them for acting like that. But as to you, it happens to a lot of people here. And mostly it happens to those who have a lot of thoughtful and meaningful things to say, only they aren't loud enough to drown out the superficiality of others.and that is why they are overlooked, ignored or forgotten.

@RobinPhoenix It's too bad it has to be that way, but I suppose you are right. I've been advised that my POV isn't of interest or relevant to younger people. I'm one of the older members here.
