What makes your country so special

We were once the leader of the free world. I watched a documentary on the Holocaust these women were telling of their time and saying they heard the planes overhead and knew "The Americans were here". I am now ashamed of my country.

we have a Constitution and Bill of Rights and enough people with a backbone to defend it.

In many cases a country is not special because of what it is, but what it isnt. A shout out to all those people living in places without a solid roof over their heads, without food in their bellies. Without knowing where all their family members are right now and who wont sleep tonight knowing they will be safe tomorrow.
Some of us have all those things and that alone makes up the lucky ones.😷

Freedom of speech, freedom to have guns, and freedom to remain silent when arrested. Freedom to be religious or be irreverent. Freedom to relax or get all hot and bothered in SW. Freedom to be wrong and not get killed nor punished for it, and freedom to be right but have people get mad at us and look down on us.
Maybe we're the country with the most strip clubs also?

Everyone in the world knows my country love it or hate it.
My country was the leader in movies, print media, technology, diplomacy for many years.
The people are amazing, the diversity of language, culture, food and so many cultures were born right here.
The landscape is massive and very varied.
Its a great place oh and we are the best country for a rags to riches story.
Sadly we have sold out on many levels and it can be said that we are in a bit of a decline in some areas.
Still a great nation and one worth visiting.
