@Rhonda they all say the same thing. Because they have ground rent.

You're always better off struggling to get a mortgage out right. It's probably worse when or if you don't have a guarantor.

@Mellowgirl my friend had 10k deposit and borrowed from a bank a other 10k and most of it as a deposit. Then after a few months went back to her bank and consolidated both the mortgage and loan into one monthly payment. She managed to get a new spacious one bed flat in Wembley. Maybe not ideal for everyone but just passing on the information.
