How do you interpret this behaviour?

. A person will at every opportunity attempt to throw you shade.

. Then gaslight you into thinking they weren't being mean by doing something small but nice, only to throw shade at a later time.

. Try to convince you everyone around you doesn't have good intentions by pointing out flaws in their behaviour.

. Plant seeds of doubt by talking only about all the negative stuff that goes on in the a world or surrounding area.

. Do all the things they know you don't like

. Catching looks that don't look genuine, like smirks when something bad happens to you, or if you did something for them that they probably calculated/manipulated you to do.

. Offer to help but spend their time trying to distract you.

. Hype you up only to knock you down woth back handed compliments or mean jokes

they aren't 'frenemies', there's no such word. either they're good for you, in which case, they are, or can be conciderd friends. or, they hurt you, in which case, they are most definitely not your friends. when they stab you in the back, or, betray your friendship, then they are enemies. plain and simple, with no middle ground.
