Do you play an instrument, if so what do you play?

And what made you pick that particular instrument?

Drums. It chose me. I've tried others, but always returned.

@uncalled4 I think that's what I would have gone for at school if it wasn't for signing up late and ending up with the sax
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@Mellowgirl Sax is great, too.

@uncalled4 thanks, I just didn't really enjoy it. I think because it lends itself to a genre not many people really care for these days. Well at least in my peer group.

@Mellowgirl Your peer group has a questionable musical taste.

@uncalled4 it's a statement, and political thing I think these days. I understand why but I find it completely soulless
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@Mellowgirl There's a lot of "soulless" music out today, especially pop. I struggle to see how it's going to be remembered.

@uncalled4 [c=800000]If people still have brains and souls 30,40,50 years from now, today's mainstream pop music will be laughed at and regarded with utter contempt.[/c]

@uncalled4 I'm sure every generation feels the same about the next generation of music, but we aren't the ones they're trying to satisfy so of course we'll say this. But those that get it. Party to it, sing a long etc will.
Maybe I'm old, maybe I'm just past it but I just think it's like anything, it's not for me, so I don't let it bother me.
