Do you like indie rock??

I love indie music. I think my favorite band that was indie but not now is No Doubt. I really liked Veruca Salt too. The Butthole Surfers were also great. Now days I get confused by what makes an artist or band indie. Is it the fact that they have no label and only known from their Web Cred. Or are they artists signed by an off the trail label? The most recent band that I like that kind of fits both Is Go Betty GO. Actually that is one of my favorite bands to listen to.
