Would I be sad if I pay for a sperm donor?

I don't know what my future holds but if I wanted to take matters into my own hands would that be too much?

Don't you think a child should have a father as well as a mother?

@SnowBlack they will have good make role models. I just can't seem to find a decent enough guy.
And I'm tired of putting my life on hold.

@Mellowgirl Will the kid like the sperm bank explanation?
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@SnowBlack did your parents tell you exactly how you were conceived and it wouldnt be a sperm bank if I pay someone I meet

@Mellowgirl Oh, I see. You hire an attractive guy for one night and have him sign a contract.

@SnowBlack it's better than meet a guy and he breaks not only my heart but our childs when he one day wakes up and realises that he doesn't love me or can't commit to being a father.

@SnowBlack maybe you shouldn't be so judgmental. You don't have to agree and that's fine for you to say but to act like my idea is completely off is rude. Since this isn't an unheard of thing to do.
@Mellowgirl A sperm bank actually makes more sense; they screen their donors. With an average guy you’d have to know his background (inherited diseases, mental illnesses, etc.). And sleeping with him hoping you get pregnant for pay is just rather tacky.

@bijouxbroussard Well know you don't have to do it like that you can go the usual insemination route. Once you have your "donor" you get tested etc etc hence the pay due to the extensive process
