Are you usually the heart break-er or the heart break-ee?

I've been thinking.. I don't think I've ever broken anyone's heart. I'm way too loyal for that. But my heart has been broken plenty of times. And, within that same train of thought, I'm not sure the heart ever fully recovers. Just tiny scars left, memories, questions and pain.

I don't think I've ever been either...

Maybe I should've been more of the heart breaker.. Then I'd be tougher and mean and cold. Then maybe things wouldn't hurt me as deep. I could let go easier...the people who don't deserve to know my heart.

@CharmedHeart: that all sounds like it makes sense. But true love does make us vulnerable at times so I would think you want true love. :)

@CharmedHeart: Speaking as someone who has apparently been an unwitting heartbreaker. It's not great to know you've hurt people. And it can be confusing and lonely to end up breaking people's hearts when all you wanted to do was to make friends.
If I were you I wouldn't aim to be either.

It's not in my nature to be that way anyhow. I guess I just continue to be let down.

@CharmedHeart: well I am sorry for all the pain you have obviously experienced in that beautiful heart of yours. 🤗🤗🤗
