How long will it be until I stop wanting my ex?

He's the first thing I think of most mornings and sometimes 3 or so times fleeting in the day.

I can't work out if it's the routine of our on/off again or if it's a genuine longing.

My desire to be physical isn't there. But to just share some of the best things that has happened recently is grating on me.

I feel lost.

We've known each other since 2009.

He joked I was his wife by calling me Mrs (his surname)
And I asked him straight wtf!

Things have dried up since them

@Justenjoyit he clearly didn't want that even though both of us said we were cautious about dating and both were saying we're not looking. I thought that meant we were on the same page. Looking for a friend.
But he was so excited to talk to me.
Trying to see if we were compatible but I'm not interested in more. I don't actually fancy him which is why I gave him my number so easily. He's not a "threat".

He removed my number on WhatsApp then 2 days later after I did the same he messaged.
I hoped he was gonna say something more so I could tell him not to bother but it was a test.
Yet another game player.
