My new hair is attracting too much attention

@DarkHeaven people have been quite nasty in the past so I'm always cautious.

@DarkHeaven it's weird. Growing up I used to watching people falling over themselves over my dad. 😳

So I lived in his shadows, kind if like the ugly duckling, the disappointment child. The one that came out too dark, with acne and scaring. But I always had OK hair.
Now things are improving people act weird with me.

Sometimes cruel other times stalkerish. It's scary either way.

@Mellowgirl I’m 6’1” with nice hair and a pretty face. It’s literally impossible for me to fly under the radar. And that was fine when I was in my bands and looking for attention… but since my adult onset of some pretty severe mental illness, all the attention makes my anxiety a nightmare. So I totally get it and I’m sorry. 🖤🤗

@DarkHeaven if someone said to me aww I like your hair I think I'd be OK. But it's the waiting and staring. The guy waited so he could talk to me then he did and spent his time staring at my hair whilst I was talking to him. Surely if you waited didn't you see the back of it. Wasn't that enough to control your behaviour once you spoke to me?
And if he didn't like it it's not his approval I'm awaiting.

I dunno its that suspense and staring.

I'm a regular customer not a friend.
They will see me again..

@Mellowgirl Yeah. For me, in the past I knew that I kinda had an affect on people. As a 6’1” Scandinavian decended, blonde haired, and blue eyed girl… I was kind of unique looking. Like sort of an ethic white because I don’t look like any kind of European at all. But now… my paranoia takes over and I think they are looking at me because I’ve done something odd or they can tell that I’m not right. My mind always goes to the bad place, no matter what. It’s miserable.

@Mellowgirl I mean. I have my parents and my girlfriend (we’ve been together over a year,) but I have zero friends off of this site. Relationships are so hard for me.
