A baby whale apparently lost his mother in New Zealand.

But I'm not convinced that it got lost. If the reports of global warming and the effects we've had on the seas, polluting them with waste and plastic are true I think she was delivered to us for its own safety. And a possible reminder.
It's very rare for any animal to swim so close to the shore out of fear of the hoomans!
