Products you use on a regular basis and how they've changed in some way

Do you have a product you buy all the time and are disappointed in changes made? I have a dish soap I've used for a couple of years and now... the bottle is smaller and the price still what it was. I'm really disappointed in what I see as a cheat move since the bottle is made to look as close as possible to the bigger size.

Product shrinkage has been going on for years. The container that was once a pound of coffee is now at 12 ounce can of coffee so it stopped at 14 for a while the pound of bacon is also now 12 ounces a cookie bag that one’s was full of cookies now has those cookies set an a little plastic tray so it looks like there’s a lot more of them when you open the box. They think we are too simple minded to notice that though the price has remained the same the product is less. And it’s often less and quality as well!

@plaguewatcher I'll be taking much closer notice now. I thought at first I was nuts thinking the bottle was smaller in some way until I took out one I already had and read the labels. The new bottle is eight ounces less. I am not happy about that!

@SW-User [c=004A59]It's not you. I've been watching this for many years, but it's gotten out of hand since covid. The price of a bag of onions jumped here from $2.99 to $5.50 in the past 6 months.[/c]

@SW-User The only way it will continue is if people continue to pay the prices.
I'm looking into making my own dish soap. Onions... I can go without rather than pay outrageous prices. Time to grow my own! lol
Going to the farmer market on Saturday to see what I can buy there.

@SW-User [c=004A59]I'm cutting back on some things and looking into alternatives for others as well. I used to shop around at a variety of stores, but since covid, I've been staying loyal to the store that has the lowest prices.[/c]

@SW-User I'm going to have to pick my battles on products, but some things I can grow or make my own... I will be doing so.
