Times have changed so much...

it is but this escapism we chose...it's getting us nowhere. it's true sometimes you meet someone online and they really understand you but it's very rare. most of the people are just nice and they say thing which they barely meant

We are escaping. Most of us are on here to fill a void that we can't get in real life. Some of us get a lot from being on here. For others, they're not as lucky. It can be hard to build genuine friendships here, but I think the energy that people give off will attract certain type of people.

@marsbar: then i won't get anyone because i am always entertaining myself by my fucked up sense of humor and weird sarcasm. i don't think most of us want to be understood, they say they like that but their actions tell a different story

@anotherclone: I think those who are misunderstood just haven't found a friend they feel they can trust, feel comfortable with & want to open up to. Others just have a difficult time really opening up. They don't allow themselves to be that vulnerable, so they never truly make those connections.

@marsbar: yea, trusting someone is very hard nowadays even if it's just trusting stranger and using them as a ventbox, some people hold to grief and misery like a relic which only exist inside of them. to be understood is more precious than being loved and you can't love before understanding them or else it isn't love

@anotherclone: That's true. You can't truly know, help & love someone if you don't understand them & why they're the way they are. And if they don't open up, then you're at an impasse. Then those you befriend & try to help, may have issues so deep, that you can't reach them. In that case, professional help may be needed.

@marsbar: lol, i find myself attracted to the crazies/weirdos, they have originality and something entirely new to offer. even if it's something fucked up at least something real :)
