@XenonRush Maybe in Japanese it means something else, but that is the meaning of that 汉字 in Mandarin.

This is actually pronounced “nihon” and it it is the kanji for “Japan” in Japanese langauge!

@XenonRush I started learning Japanese just a week ago, so far I am just learning basic hiragana. Kanji will come later. Hopefully knowing some Chinese makes it easier.
